SPEED limits will be reduced on a couple of Gold Coast roads.
Member for Gaven, Dr Alex Douglas announced on Sunday Maudsland and Mt Nathan Roads will be changed this month.

On Mt Nathan Road (Beaudesert–Nerang Road) the entire road section north from Nathan Valley Road (Mount Nathan) to west from the Coomera River (near Canungra) will be posted at 90km/h.
This removes the 100km/h road sections and provides a posted speed consistent with the road environment.
On Maudsland Road the posted speed limit between Gaven Arterial Road and Beaudesert– Nerang Road will be reduced from 80km/h to 70km/h.
These changes are expected to take place by mid-December.
