“After a great deal of consideration and with the interest of our beloved fans front and centre, Splendour in the Grass will move the 20th Anniversary event forward to July, 2021,” organisers of Splendour in the Grass wrote.
The three-day festival was due to hit the Byron Bay Parklands over the weekend of October 23 – 25, but will now take place in its usual time slot of Friday 23 to Sunday 25 July, 2021.
“We intend to rebook as many of the 2020 artists as possible and we have started to work through that process,” organisers confirmed.
“Please retain your tickets and support live music if you wish to attend next July.
“All 2020 tickets will be valid for Splendour 2021 edition.
“We can’t wait to see you all in 2021 for the biggest birthday celebration of all time!”
