Students hospitalised after ingesting mystery substance

TWO teenagers are in hospital after reportedly ingesting an unknown substance at a school in Brisbane.

Ambulances were called to Mitchelton State High School at Mitchelton around 11.30am on Friday.

Paramedics assessed two teenage girls at the school before taking them to separate hospitals.

One teen was taken to Prince Charles Hospital, the other to Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital.

They are both said to be in stable conditions.

No further information was available at the time of writing.
