THE GOLD Coast SUNS will go into QClash 7 with the upper hand over the Brisbane Lions, but a poor record behind them.
The local side has one win under its belt already this season, while their rivals up the M1 are yet to get off the ground.
The Lions have won five of the past six derbies and SUNS Skipper Gary Ablett says QClash 7 at Metricon Stadium on Saturday afternoon must be the time when the Suns finally set the physical terms.

Fox Sports reports, the dual Brownlow medallist said he was bemused by the debate over the importance of Q Clashes and whether the rivalry between Queensland’s two clubs had truly kicked-off.
“I think if you were to ask the players from both sides they would say it has,” he said.
“There is no doubt it is a big game for us and we will come out fired up to win it.”
Ablett said the only way for the Suns to maximise their great pace was to set the physical tone of the game.
“Without a doubt, in the past that has been the biggest thing,” he said. “We have to win it inside before we can use our leg speed outside, so that will be a focus for us.”
