Supreme Court of Qld evacuated after bomb threat

Queensland’s Supreme Court complex has been evacuated after receiving a bomb threat.

The threat is understood to have been made towards the building on George Street in Brisbane’s CBD on Monday morning.

Police have swarmed the area and are currently searching the complex.

The court alerted the public to the incident via social media.

“QE II Court building evacuated, bomb threat received, police investigating,” Supreme Court of Qld wrote.

They say the threat is being treated “as real until otherwise notified”.

All courts remain closed.
