Suspected stolen jewellery found at Gold Coast pawnbroker

POLICE are hoping to reunite some jewellery suspected of being stolen from a home on the Gold Coast with its rightful owners.

The items were found at a pawnbroker’s on the Gold Coast around May 27 this year.

Police suspect they were stolen, possibly from the Gold Coast area, on or before May 25.

One item is a men’s yellow gold square faced dress ring featuring a rub-over solitaire diamond overlaying the face of the ring with diamonds down the sides of the ring.

The other item is a gold coloured sovereign pendant.

If you recognise these items, or have any information about who they may belong to, you’re being urged to contact police.

Officers say proof of ownership, such as photographs, may be required to claim the jewellery.
