Target recalls candy canes over possible plastic contamination

Christmas may be over but Target Australia has issued a recall on a popular brand of candy canes over fears they may be contaminated with plastic.

The retail giant said the Fabulous Food Company Candy Canes, which have a best before date of August 2019, were sold at Target stores around the country between 16 September 2018 and January 17, 2019.

“The recall is due to the potential presence of plastic,” the recall notice reads.
