A TEACHER has been charged with having sexual intercourse with a 16-year-old girl in a classroom at a high school in Sydney.
The 50-year-old man was arrested at his Leppington home in the city’s southwest about 10.30pm last night after the student came forward and reported the assault.
It allegedly happened in a classroom at an Inner West high school on Monday, police said.

The middle-aged man was taken to Narellan Police Station where he was charged with one count of having sexual intercourse with a person under his care – 16 years of age.
The teacher was released on strict conditional bail in Campbelltown Local Court today.
He’ll next appear in Burwood Local Court on December 5.
