A TEENAGER has been charged after an early morning jogger was robbed at gun-point on the Gold Coast this morning.
It’s understood a 40-year-old woman was running along Myola Court at Coombabah when police say she was approached by a hooded 17-year-old boy on a bicycle just after 6am.
Police allege the man aimed a semi-automatic pistol at the woman and demanded her mobile phone.

The woman handed over her phone, but asked to keep her SIM card in which the man returned before riding off with the phone only.
The terrified woman ran to a nearby house where she called for help. Nine Gold Coast News reports the man threatened the hunt the woman down if she phoned police.
Police responded and raided an address a short time later where they located the alleged robber, stolen phone and plastic toy handgun believed used in the robbery.
The man has been charged with armed robbery and threats and will appear in the Southport Magistrates Court tomorrow.
