A second teenager has been charged over the terrifying armed robbery of a Gold Coast jewellery store, which allegedly saw a cleaner threatened at gunpoint.
Two masked men used a stolen gold 2006 Toyota Rav4 station-wagon to smash their way into the northern end of The Pines shopping centre in Elanora around 4.00am on January 17.
The pair then got out and smashed their way into a jewellery store at the centre.

A cleaner saw the commotion unfolding and was allegedly threatened with a gun before the pair grabbed a quantity of jewellery and took off in the stolen vehicle.
The car was later found engulfed in flames at Ellioh Court in Elanora.
An 18-year-old man from Edens Landing has already been charged over the alleged robbery, however following further investigations, police have now charged a second teen.
The 18-year-old Coomera man appeared in Southport Magistrates Court today charged with serious assault, enter premises with intent, enter premises and commit, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, arson, drive without a licence and fraud.
He was remanded in custody to reappear on February 13.
