Teen flown to hospital after horror motorbike crash

A TEENAGE boy has been airlifted to hospital following horrific motorbike crash in country New South Wales.

The 17-year-old was riding with mates at a motocross track at Quirindi, south of Tamworth, when tragedy struck.

It’s understood the teen came off his trail bike while going over a jump before then being run over two other bikes.


The boy sustained series injuries, including possible internal injuries, and was rendered unconscious in the accident.

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was dispatched to the scene and flew the teen to Tamworth Hospital.

No further information was available at the time of writing.
