Teen girls hospitalised after car crashes into fence on Gold Coast

TWO teenage girls have been taken to hospital after a car smashed into a fence on the Gold Coast overnight.

The accident happened on Woodlands Way in Parkwood around 8.00pm.

Emergency crews were called to the scene and treated the two teens for a number of injuries.

One girl was treated for elbow and back injuries whilst the other received treatment for rib injuries.

The pair were taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

Two other people were assessed by paramedics at the scene, however did not require transport to hospital.
