A YOUNG man has been killed and five others have been injured – one of the critically – in a horror crash in Central West NSW.
It happened on the Castlereagh Highway at Gulargambone, about 25 kilometres north of Gilgandra, just after 6.30am on Sunday.
Police said six males were travelling in a Ford Mondeo when, for reasons yet to be determined, it spun out of control and crashed.

The driver, an 18-year-old man, sustained life-threatening injuries in the collision and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The other five male passengers were taken by ambulances to Dubbo and Gilgandra hospitals.
Four of them are believed to have sustained minor injuries, while the fifth was transported in a critical condition.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the tragedy and will prepare a report for the information of the Coroner.
