A 16-year-old teenage boy has been shot by Police in a home in Forest Lake, south west of Brisbane, earlier this morning.
Police were responding to reports of a disturbance at the Banksia Circuit address just before 3.30am.
Officers arrived and were allegedly confronted and threatened by the 16-year-old boy holding knives, when they shot and struck him in the stomach with a Police firearm.

The teenager had to be taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital where he is undergoing surgery, and is believed to have non-life-threatening injuries.
The Ethical Standards Command have commenced an investigation into the incident which will be looked over by the Crime and Corruption Commission.
