Three hospitalised after Gold Coast crash

THREE people have been taken to hospital following a nasty two car crash on the Gold Coast.

The vehicles came to grief on Bermuda Street at Mermaid Waters about 9.30pm last night.

Six people were assessed by paramedics at the scene, three of whom were taken to hospital.

Queensland Ambulance said the patients were complaining of neck, back and abdominal injuries.

They were all transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital in stable conditions.

Their genders and ages are not known.
