The NRL has confirmed today that it is investigating possible salary cap irregularities at the Gold Coast Titans.
The NRL’S Manager of Integrity, Nick Weekes made the announcement, saying that the matters being reviewed relate to a period when the previous management team was running the club.
The current team, headed by Graham Annesley, discovered the possible breaches and reported them immediately to the NRL.

Meantime the team’s on-field woes continued overnight with their seventh home loss in a row, this time to the Eels. Despite tries from Dave Taylor, Anthony Don and Ben Roberts, Parramatta was too strong for the home side 24-18, thanks mainly to a scintillating second-half double by Jarryd Hayne.
