Gold Coast Titans forward Max King is set to leave the club effective immediately.
The 22-year-old has been granted a release before the June 30 deadline, after signing a two-year deal with the Melbourne Storm.
King is off to Melbourne straight away and could play his first game for the Storm sometime after the rep round lay-off.

King has played 38 games for the Titans after making his NRL debut in 2017.
Titans coach Garth Brennan admits it’s disappointing but it’s a good move for King.
“Max is a quality human being who will definitely be missed around our club,” Brennan said.
“He was presented an opportunity and with an extension, which was something that couldn’t be guaranteed here at the Titans.
“I know I speak on behalf of everyone here in wishing Max all the best for the future.”
