Titans search for sponsor in China

THE GOLD Coast Titans have reportedly taken their hunt for a new sponsor all the way to China.

The Titans no longer have a naming rights sponsor for 2015 after iSelect  pulled out of the final two years of its contract.

The Gold Coast NRL club are hoping to cash in on China’s booming economy and large population.

There’s no details as to which company they’re looking to make a deal with or even what city they’re in. But, according to the Gold Coast Bulletin, things are looking positive.

The Titans are looking to complete a major overhaul of the club after another less than impressive year both on and off the field.

They’ve slipped from being equal first earlier in the year to 13th on the ladder after some tough matches on the field.

But the dramas didn’t end their, with foundation coach John Cartwright and founder Michael Searle both resigning last week.

Interim coach Neil Henry is looking like the most likely replacement for Cartwright as coach next year, although that is yet to be confirmed.
