A toddler has been taken to hospital following a ‘post immersion incident’ at Broadbeach this afternoon.
Emergency crews were called to the beach, near Broadbeach Boulevard and Australia Avenue, around 2.10pm after receiving reports a young girl had come into trouble in the water.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson said one ambulance crew responded to the incident, whilst the QAS bike squad was also on scene.

The youngster was treated at the beach before being taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
