A TOURIST has been killed and seven others injured in a horror bus crash on Fraser Island this afternoon.
It’s understood the accident happened around 2pm on a track around 10km from the Inskip Point barge.
Police said initial investigations indicated a vehicle – reported to be a mini bus – carrying eight people rolled while travelling south towards Hook Point.

One passenger – believed to be a German tourist – has been confirmed dead.
The driver and another passenger have been airlifted to the Hervey Bay Hospital by the RACQ CareFlight rescue chopper with head injuries.
The five remaining passengers have been transported to Gympie Hospital with various injuries.
There is no further information available at this time.
