UPDATE @ 10.45AM | ONE person has been assessed by paramedics following a major pile-up on the Pacific Motorway this morning.
The accident, understood to involve at least five cars and a truck, happened southbound on the Coomera River Bridge around 9.30am.
One person was treated at the scene by Queensland Ambulance paramedics for minor injuries, however they did not need transport to hospital.

The crash has since been cleared, however long delays all the way back to Ormeau are still being experienced.
EARLIER @ 9.30AM | MOTORISTS are being urged to avoid the Pacific Motorway southbound following a major pile-up this morning.
At least seven vehicles are understood to have been involved in the accident, which happened on the Coomera River Bridge around 9.30am.
Emergency crews on scene. It’s not yet known how many people, if any, have been injured.
Traffic is quickly building along the busy stretch, with delays already back to Pimpama.
It comes after five people were taken to hospital following a three-car crash at Helensvale around 8.00am.
The vehicles collided on Brisbane Road, with delays still being experienced in the area.
