Trail bike rider killed after hitting wire fence

A YOUNG man has been killed in a horror motorbike accident in country New South Wales.

It happened in the small town of Narromine, 40km west of Dubbo, about 6.45am on Sunday.

Police said an 18-year-old on a trail bike collided with a wire fence on Algalah Street.


Emergency services rushed to the scene but sadly, there was nothing they could do.

Police said the young man was already dead when they arrived.

A crime scene was established and examined by forensic specialists.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident and will prepare a report for the Coroner.
