Trish told myGC she has been working as an aged care nurse for almost 10 years, and absolutely loves her job at Villa Serena Aged Care in Mudgeeraba.
“I really enjoying caring for the elderly. It make me feel close to my parents who have sadly both passed away,” she said.
“I work with our dementia patients, which can be difficult at times, but I am just really patient with them and shower them with love.”
Along with a certificate, Trish wins $250 and is now a finalist in the Annual Awards where she could be awarded the annual winner’s cash prize of $5,000.
“You don’t get a lot of recognition being a nurse, so it is just beautiful to win this award. Thank you.”
