Twelve people assessed by paramedics after M1 crash

TWELVE people have been injured in a major car pile-up at Rochedale South overnight.

The accident happened northbound on the Pacific Motorway just after 7.00pm.

Emergency crews were called to the scene, with paramedics treating twelve drivers and passengers for minor injuries.


Luckily, only one motorist required transport to hospital and was taken to the Princess Alexandra in a stable condition.

Meanwhile, another driver was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition, following a multi-vehicle crash on the Gold Coast Highway at Miami around 6.00pm.
