Two charged over Logan grocery store fight

A MAN and a woman have been charged with assault after getting into a fight with another man and a 15-year-old boy in Logan.

The 48-year-old man and the boy were walking along Croydon Road around 11.20am on Sunday, when the man and woman pulled up in a vehicle next to them and an arguement started.

The duo decided to leave but the car then followed them to a nearby grocery store.

The man and woman approached them again, and pushed the 48-year-old in the chest, causing him to stumble back and hit the counter.

He then punched the 15-year-old boy in the face before both cars drove off.

A 24-year-old Crestmead man has been charged with two counts of assault occasioning bodily harm whilst in company.

A 25-year-old woman has been charged with two counts of assault occasioning bodily harm whilst in company.

Both are expected to appear at the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on October 28.
