Two dead in Burnett Highway crash

TWO men have died after the car they were driving collided with a 4WD on the Burnett Highway in Queensland.

The vehicles came to grief on the highway roughly seven kilometres south of Gayndah about 10pm last night.

Sadly, two men from the sedan sustained life-threatening injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene.

The male and female occupants in the four wheel drive escaped with non -life-threatening injuries.

Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.
