Two dead in second light aircraft crash

Another two people have been killed in a second light aircraft crash in NSW today.

The most recent accident happened around 3.30pm, on a rural property on the Silver City Highway, about 50km north of Wentworth.

Police say initial reports suggest the aircraft plummeted to the ground shortly after take-off.

Two men, who are yet to be identified, died at the scene.

It comes after two people died when their light aircraft crashed into a paddock near Orange around midday.

Investigations into both aircraft crashes are currently underway.

The Australian Transport Safety Bureau has also been notified of each incident.
