TWO people have been injured, one of them critically, after being hit by a car at a crowded netball court in Sydney’s south.
The man and woman were struck down by a reversing car at the Bellingara Netball Courts in Sylvania just before 10.30am on Saturday.
A NSW Police spokesperson said the woman was pinned up against a fence in the car park and the man sustained a head injury.

It’s understood members of the public rushed to free the trapped woman before she and the injured man were rushed to St George Hospital.
At least one of them was transported in a critical condition. Their ages are not known.

In a post on Facebook, the Sutherland Shire Netball Association said a “major incident” had taken place and as a result, all morning games had been cancelled.
The woman who was driving the car is assisting police with their enquiries.
