Two men in serious condition after stabbing in Woodridge park

TWO men have been rushed to hospital in a serious condition after being stabbed during a fight in Woodridge overnight.

Around 9.45pm, police were called to Oates Park on Mary Avenue following reports of an altercation between a group of men.

Upon arrival, emergency crews found one man, aged 22, with stab wounds to his back and underarm.

A second man, aged 27, was stabbed in the chest after rushing to his friend’s aid.

The pair were both rushed to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with a critical care paramedic on board.

Investigations into the incident are continuing.
