UPDATE @ 11.00am: One man has reportedly died and two others have been rescued after becoming trapped in a tank at an industrial site in Sydney’s west.
Just before 8.45am, emergency services rushed to Chisholm Road in Auburn after receiving reports three workers were trapped inside a tank.
Following a complex operation, two men were able to be extricated and have since been rushed to Westmead hospital with leg injuries.

According to reports by Fairfax Media, News Limited and ABC News, the third man was unable to be saved and died at the scene.
NSW Police are yet to confirm the news.

An investigation into how the accident occurred is now underway.
EARLIER @ 10:15am: TWO men are trapped in an oil tank at an industrial site in Sydney’s west.
Emergency services rushed to Chisholm Road in Auburn just before 8.45am after receiving reports three workers were trapped inside a tank.
One man was able to be freed. He has since been taken to Westmead Hospital with leg injuries.
A complex rescue operation is now underway to free the other two men, believed to be seriously injured.
