TWO men have been hospitalised after being bitten by snakes in Queensland overnight.

One man was bitten on his leg on Rainforest Court at Boreen Point around 6.30pm, while the other was bitten on his foot at a location on Panorama Crescent in Benaraby just after 10.00pm.

Paramedics treated the first victim at the scene before transporting him to Sunshine Coast University Hospital for further treatment.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson confirmed he was taken in a stable condition.

The second man, aged in his 60s, was also treated at the scene before being rushed to Gladstone Hospital in a stable condition.

It is not yet known what type of snakes were involved in the incidents.

The snake bites occurred just hours after a man filmed a giant python scaling the side of his home at Mudgeeraba on the Gold Coast – See the video here!
