A man has been charged after he was caught allegedly trying to procure, what he thought was a 14-year-old girl, for sex.
The 64-year-old from Macksville was arrested yesterday following a covert online investigation into the sexual abuse and exploitation of children facilitated through the internet.
Police allege the man believed he was speaking to a 14-year-old girl and made numerous sexually explicit comments to the child and requested to meet her for the purpose of sexual activity.
