UPDATE: Girl found after frantic air and land search

UPDATE @ February 11 2018 11am | A young girl has been found safe and well, following a frantic search of bushland in rural NSW.

The four-year-old appears to have wandered off from her family home at Rockley, 35km south Bathurst, on Saturday night.

She was only wearing a nightie, sparking a sleepless night for her parents, and has reportedly been taken to hospital as a precaution.


Police are yet to confirm where she had spent the night.

EARLIER @ February 11 2018 9am | An air and land search is underway at a property in NSW in the desperate hope of finding a young girl.

The four-year-old was reported missing from the Rockley property, about 35km from Bathurst at 7.30pm on Saturday.

A search of the nearby area was conducted throughout the night, but the little girl, who was wearing a long-sleeved pink nightshirt at the time she disappeared, was not found.

The Police helicopter, along with the Dog Unit, NSW Ambulance and local SES and RFS volunteers are scouring through bushland and dams in the area.
