LOCATED | Missing Gold Coast man found safe and well

UPDATE @ 7.00AM, February 19 | Police have confirmed that the missing Elanora, thought to be in New South Wales, has now been found safe and well on the Gold Coast.

EARLIER @3.30PM, February 18 | Police are seeking urgent public help to track down an Elanora man who has gone missing and maybe lost in New South Wales.

The 78-year-old hasn’t been seen since dropping off a relative at Gold Coast Airport around 4.20am on Monday morning.


Police believe he may have become confused due to a medical condition and may have headed south instead of heading home.

It’s understood he was spotted in Woolgoola near Coffs Harbour on Monday afternoon.

There are serious concerns for his welfare because of his medical condition.
