Vale Chuck Berry: Father of Rock’n’Roll dies aged 90

Tributes are flowing following news of the death of music legend, Chuck Berry.

The 90-year-old singer could not be revived by paramedics at his home in St Charles, Missouri, when found unresponsive on Saturday.

Berry was best known for hits including Roll Over Beethoven, Rock and Roll Music and Johnny B. Goode.

According to his website, Berry was planning on releasing a new album this year to celebrate his 90 birthday.

It would be his first new album in more than 40 years.

Berry is credited as being one of the pioneers of rock and roll music.
