Wanted man on the run after escaping custody at NSW Court

People are being warned not to approach a wanted man who’s on the run in NSW after escaping from custody at a court in the state’s south.

Leigh Campbell fled from Cooma Local Court about 11.15am today and was last seen heading north.

It’s believed the 35-year-old may be driving a grey Ford Territory with registration CN49AB.

Campbell is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 150-160cm tall, of medium build with short brown hair and tattoos on his head, neck and under his right eye.

Police are warning members of the public not to approach the man if sighted, but to instead call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
