WATCH: Dr Libby to help local women understand their hormones at Gold Coast event

Internationally acclaimed nutritional biochemist Dr Libby will be helping Gold Coast women to better understand their hormones at an event at Bond University next month.

The best selling author is bringing her 2018 national tour, The Hormone Factor, to the Gold Coast on September 3 and is encouraging local women to come along to learn about the powerful impact hormones have on their health.

Dr Libby told myGC hormones play a powerful role in how we feel and how our bodies function.


“When I talk about hormones a lot of people firstly think about stress hormones or sex hormones, but there are more than 50 hormones in the body,” she said.

“Each have their own remarkable abilities to cause havoc or harmony to our inner and outer world, depending on whether they are in or out of balance and being produced in optimal quantities.”
