The Gold Coast is in for a massive summer of sport, with a number of high-profile events set to hit the glitter strip over the next few weeks and months.
Athletes and representatives from the Magic Millions, PGA Championship, Brisbane Heat and AFLW came together in Surfers Paradise today ahead of taking part in some of Australia’s biggest sporting events right here on the Gold Coast.
Golfer Cade McBride, who is set to play in the upcoming Australian PGA Championships, told myGC he will be enjoying as much sport as he can on the GC this summer.

“I love my AFL and love my cricket, so its going to be nice to wrap up the year here at home and get out to Metricon to watch a bit of cricket and watch the girls play AFL,” he said.
Polo player Rob Archibald said Magic Millions will be even bigger in 2020.
“There’s so much to look forward to. We’ve got a star-studded lineup for the Polo, including ex rugby league players and Zara Phillips. I hope everyone comes down and enjoys the spectacle,” he said.
