WATCH: Hunt for man accused of punching strangers on bus continues

POLICE have released new vision as they continue to search for the man accused of punching another man and teenage girl in the head on buses in Brisbane late last year.

The first assault, which police believe to be unprovoked and random, happened around 7.45pm on Sunday, December 9.

Police say a a 40-year-old man was sitting on a bus as it stopped on Maundrell Terrace in Chermside West when he was punched in the face.

In a separate incident, an 18-year-old woman also suffered facial injuries after she was punched by the same man whilst sitting on a bus as it stopped on South Pine Road at Everton Park on December 12.

Investigators are asking anyone who uses the bus network in Brisbane’s north and who sees the man, to contact police immediately.

Investigations into the incidents are continuing.
