Melbourne Stars players and coaches traded in their cricket bats for golf clubs at TopGolf on the Gold Coast yesterday.
Ahead of their Big Bash League match against Sydney Thunder at Metricon Stadium on Saturday, the group took some time off from cricket practise to tee off at the popular golfing attraction.
Batsman Nick Larkin told myGC said the team were excited to be on the Gold Coast.

“It’s a little bit different for us having a home game up here but it’s nice to get out and check out the surroundings,” he said.
While he may be a skilled batsman, Mr Larkin said his TopGolf skills were subpar.
“It’s not my forte, but there are a few on the team who fancy themselves as golfers so it has been plenty of fun.”
