Woman, 25, found clinging to life after alleged murder attempt

A MAN has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly trying to kill a woman in a Brisbane car park.

Police said the 25-year-old woman was found clinging to life in a car park on Ritchie Road at Pallara, in the city’s south, about 4.30am on Sunday.

She was suffering life-threatening injuries and rushed to hospital in a critical condition.


Detectives arrested a 31-year-old man who has since been charged with one count of attempted murder.

He has been remanded in custody and is due to front Richlands Magistrates Court on Monday.

Police confirmed the man and woman are known to each other.
