Woman airlifted to hospital after falling 30m down Qld embankment

A WOMAN has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after falling about 30 metres down an embankment in Queensland.

The horror fall happened in Clumber on Sunday, with emergency services called to Spicers Gap Road just after midday.

It took rescue crews a number of hours to successfully extricate the woman, aged in her 30s.


She was treated at the scene by paramedics for head, chest and leg injuries before being airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in serious but stable condition.
