A WOMAN has been charged after a man she allegedly supplied the drug Fentanyl was found dead on the Gold Coast.
Police say they were called to an Oceanic Drive address at Mermaid Waters just before 5pm on Friday where they located the body of a 42-year-old man.
It’s alleged a 37-year-old woman had supplied the man with the drug Fentanyl prior to his death.

Fentanyl is a potent (up 100 times more so than morphine), synthetic painkiller with a rapid onset and is commonly used as an enesthetic in operating rooms and intensive care units.
The woman was today charged with one count of supplying a dangerous drug and is due to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court on Monday.
Investigations are continuing into the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
