A woman has been arrested and charged after allegedly throwing a television at Police in Sydney last night.
Police were called to a home on Dowling Street following reports of stolen property around 11pm.
It’s believed the 29-year-old woman began verbally abusing the officers on arrival, before spitting on the face of a Senior Constable.

Officers attempted to arrest the woman, who then allegedly slammed a door on a female Constable – causing a laceration on her forehead.
It will then be alleged that the woman threw a television at the officers before running directly towards the Senior Constable.
He had to use an electronic stun device to stop the woman.
She was immediately arrested, and treated by paramedics at the scene.
She was taken to Kings Cross Police Station and charged with assaulting an officer and resisting or hindering police.
The woman was refused bail and will front court in Parramatta today.
The female officer was taken to Sydney Eye Hospital for treatment.
