Woman clocked tearing through 50 zone at 140km/h with toddler in the car

A WOMAN has been blasted by police in NSW after she was allegedly clocked tearing through a 50 zone at 140 kilometres per hour with a toddler in the back seat.

Police clocked the woman speeding along Macleay Street in Wagga Wagga, in the state’s Riverina, on Monday night.

The 26-year-old had a three-year-old child and three male passengers in the car at the time, police said.

The woman had her licence suspended on the spot and was charged with exceeding the speed by more than 45km/h and driving in a dangerous manner.

The young driver will face Wagga Local Court on November 1.
