Woman cut free from car, airlifted to hospital after Qld crash

A WOMAN has been airlifted to hospital after being cut free from the wreckage of her vehicle in Qld early this morning.

It’s understood a member of the public found the car in bushland off Gayndah Mundubbera Road in Gayndah about 1am.

Emergency services then rushed to the scene where they extracted the driver, a woman aged in her 30s, from the car.


She was treated for significant head injuries before being airlifted to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.

Police say the the Forensic Crash Unit is now investigating.
