UPDATE @ 5.00PM: A woman has been arrested in connection to the death of a woman in inner Sydney.
The woman was found in a laneway beside the 11-storey complex on Rose Valley Way in Zetland on Monday evening but could not be revived.
Police released images of a woman they wanted to speak to as part of the investigation.

Several hours later the woman was spotted in a white Mercedes at Sea Cliff Bridge north of Wollongong.
The 29-year-old was arrested and is now being questioned by Police.
The car has also been seized for forensic examination.
EARLIER @ 10.30AM: A major homicide investigation is underway after a woman died on a footpath behind a unit block in inner Sydney.
The woman was found with injuries at the 11-storey complex on Rose Valley Way in Zetland around 8.45pm on Monday.
Emergency services were called but she could not be revived and died at the scene.
Residents told News Corp Australia they had heard a someone screaming before her body was discovered.
“My friend came over and she heard it in the hallway when she came into our apartment … she literally said ‘it sounds like someone’s dying in there’,” one said.
“Just screaming, so it sounded like someone young or a female.”
A crime scene has been declared while police investigations continue.
