Woman hospitalised after being bitten by a dog, Gold Coast

A woman’s been hospitalised after a dog bite incident on the Gold Coast yesterday.

Paramedics were called to a private address in Robina around 6.30pm, following reports of the incident.

A woman in her 60s was briefly treated at the scene for hand injuries, before being taken to hospital for further treatment.

She’s understood to be at the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

Is it now mandatory, when reporting on anyone who has been transported to hospital, to say they are ‘in a stable condition’??? Even the most minor incident when someone is taken for observation, the are reported to ‘be in a stable condition’.
