A woman has been taken to hospital after a stabbing at Southport.
Paramedics were called to a home on Norman St just after 4.30pm after reports someone had been injured.
A woman had received wounds to her arm after reportedly being slashed with a sharp instrument.

She’s since been transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital but her injuries are not believed to be serious.

A second woman was taken into custody and is currently being questioned by Police.
Police say it’s not clear what sparked the incident.
