Woman killed in high-rise fall

A WOMAN has died after falling from a high-rise building in Southport, police have confirmed.

The woman, whose age is not known, fell to her death from the 21-storey H2O Apartment building on Marine Parade on Wednesday afternoon.

The circumstances surrounding the incident were not immediately known.

Speaking to myGC, a police spokeswoman said the woman’s death was not being treated as suspicious.

Police are in attendance and have established a crime scene.
